Happy Birthday Kanani

So a week ago was our Kanani's birthday, and since we were sooo busy preparing for camp, we decided to celebrate it today instead.  Thus, a photostory for you.

hand these out at baseball games, and they are perfect for AG dolls.)

Photoshoot with Paige

So, most of the time for pictures, we use an older, not-as-nice camara, but yesterday, we decided to take some pictures with our newer, nicer, camera that never gets used.  So, a little photostory/photoshoot thing for you.

 Getting the camera to work, we took this picture inside, by a window.

 As we walk outside, we are mauled by our crazed cat.  Great.  5 seconds into the photoshoot and Paige has cat hair on her.

Happy Birthday, Nicki!

Nicki's birthday was the 24th, so a photostory for you.

McKenna's Birthday

As you may know, American Girl has birthdays for the Historical Characters, but not for the Girls of the Year.  We just made up birthdays and spaced them out across the year, so we don't have to celebrate them all in the spring.  On May 25th, we celebrated McKenna's birthday, so, a photostory for you.

 The second present is... (the only doll-sized wrapping we had were these cat-box-things, so that's why the presents look alike)

Camp Doll Diaries

Camp Doll Diaries is going on at dolldiaries.com!  Our dolls are getting involved fully, and we have a couple of pictures for you.

The name badge that was the first day's craft, and you can find it here.  We had lots of fun making this!

Kanani models the name badge.  We will post a tutorial for her braids later.

A closer look at the visor.  It is made of purple foam, with Chrissa written with pink glitter glue.  It has pink foam hearts with pink glitter glue on them.

 

McKenna is making a sit-upon, one of yesterday's crafts.  You can find the tutorial here.

 

Mia is looking through the button basket.  She is searching for buttons to make a yoyo, for which you can find the tutorial here.

 

"Look!  I found some!" Mia shouts, excited.

 

Of course, the dolls didn't forget to play some camp games.  Here, Caroline is hiding behind a pillow.  "I hope Kanani doesn't find me," she whispered.  You can find the post about camp games here.
