Review on #49 Paige

We posted a picture of Paige on Instagram a couple days ago, and we had a request to do a review on her.  Enjoy!
#49 has medium skin, black-brown wavy hair, and blue eyes.  She also has the Classic Facemold.

 Her eyes are the standard blue that they use for all blue-eyed MyAG's except for #24.

 Although, from afar, the difference in the color is not as noticeable.  She can wear the dark brown hair pieces from AG without a problem.

 Paige's hand next to Kanani's hand.  In the picture, it looks like Paige's hand is darker, but in reality they are the same color.

 

Paige's hair is really silky and soft.  We think it might actually be Sonali's hair, so if you have Sonali, compare her hair to Paige's.  Her hair can be brushed or picked, and you can brush it out straight like below,

 

 Or twist the hair into curls.

 

 

Paige looks good in EVERYTHING.  Seriously.  Here are a few versatile outfits where you can decide for yourself.

So, all in all, we have no complaints about buying #49.  She looks good in everything and is very photogenic.  Her hair is very easy to manage, unlike a lot of curly-haired dolls.  Her eyes are a bright shade of blue, and if you are cought between #49 and #60, buy #49, because #49's skin tone really pops with her eyes, while #60's light skin can't really compare.  #49's hair will also hold hairstyles better because of the wavy texture of it.  Although if you really want #60, don't let anything stop you because she really is a gorgeous doll!  In our opinion, #49 is the doll from AG who looks most like Katniss because she has olive skin, dark brown/black hair, and from certain angles, her eyes look grey.  Sorry, we were kind of rambling there for a bit!  Also, a new blog design is coming shortly, watch for it!

Updates!

Sorry, we were kind of offline for the past day or two, we had a little Labor Day vacation thing, but we are back home now!  Sometime this week we will be posting an Elegant Blogger Award thing, and, per request, a review on Paige.  We are preparing for our trip to Disney World (we go in about a week and a half), and will upload a packing video for what we are bringing doll-wise.  When we get back, we will start a video for Buterflycandy's contest and then after that, work on adding two new members to our doll collection!  So that kind of sums up the next month or so AG wise, and although we may not be posting as much due to school, we still love to hear your opinion and read your posts!

Dance Dolls Part 2

Photoshoot with Paige

So, most of the time for pictures, we use an older, not-as-nice camara, but yesterday, we decided to take some pictures with our newer, nicer, camera that never gets used.  So, a little photostory/photoshoot thing for you.

 Getting the camera to work, we took this picture inside, by a window.

 As we walk outside, we are mauled by our crazed cat.  Great.  5 seconds into the photoshoot and Paige has cat hair on her.

Saige's Interview Featuring Rebecca and Paige

So, Tarynn was bored and took this stopmotion.  It's not very well done, since we made it in like 5 minutes and the light kept changing.  Saige interviews Rebecca and Paige, but lets her ego get ahead of her.  This will be our first stopmotion (and video for that matter)  posted on the site!  Yay!

New AG Stuff

Here are our opinions on the new AG Stuff.  We don't own these pictures.

 
Saige's Tunic Outfit:  We will probably get this, but the flats?  Why are they pink?

Not getting this probably, but it's cute.

This is cute!  We love the book and water bottle.

Overpriced.  We will be making our own version of this.

Um, maybe.  Overpriced, too.

Awesome, except for the fact that you can't remove the food.

This is so adorable!!  We will probably have to get this!


Cute, but the doll looks like a clown with that dress.

Definitely getting this.  Maybe even five sets of it.  This is awesome.  Very much awesome.


We think this ponytail is really long, but it would be fun for Toddlers and Tiaras videos.

These buns are obnoxiously big.  Probably a no.

These are like the headpiece that came with Caroline's Holiday Dress.  We think it's really cool for kids who can't do doll hair, but we'll probably just do it ourselves for free.


These outfits are really cute, but $90 is a little much.

Looks a little cheaply made.

This is basically the same thing, except a different color.  Paige likes it though, since she's the model.

Um, we liked the old one a LOT better, but we didn't get a chance to get it.  The old one came with pants, too; and was blue and yellow instead of PINK AND GREEN.  Why is it pink and green?  Will probably get this since Tarynn loves running so much, or we will wait until a new one comes out in a different color, like we are doing with the cheerleader outfit.

Nice, we guess.  We're not getting her, but we're glad AG made her since so many girls look like this.

Ok, SERIOUSLY, AG?  We went to the AG Store literally 3 weeks ago, to get Kristen and Paige, and we got Paige because she looks the most like Tarynn except for the dark skin.  Well of course, right after we get Paige, they come out with a doll that looks EXACTLY LIKE TARYNN.  Paige is reading this and is afraid we will return her.  Don't worry, Paige.  You're not getting returned.  We're not even getting this doll.  A lot of people say she looks like Katniss in doll form, but we think Paige (MyAG #49)  looks more like her, because Katniss has olive skin.  But Tarynn takes that as a compliment because that means she looks like Katniss.  Katniss also has grey eyes.  Grr, this makes us so MAD!
